In addition to the existing Departments in the Manipur University, steps have been taken up for opening the department of Sociology, Environmental Sciences and Foreign Language Department.
Functioning of the Foreign Language Department would be started with Japanese and Korean. Plans are also afoot for construction of cultural and sports complex, outdoor stadium, swimming pool and another indoor stadium, the VC informed the gathering.
This will give an opportunity to learn the new language and understand the culture. Specially youngester who are enduring the Korean wave will able to fulfill their dreams through learning the language.

It is really Great that Manipur University is going to Open Sociology Department and Foreign language such as Korean, Japanese etc . It is really essential to upgrade Manipur university With such New Department. It will bring a lot of hopes for many students, and will also help in making a good Society among us.
