The South Korean Waves

Hallyu, the South Korean Cultural Wave is no more bound within the circle of East Asian reagion but it has become an international wave. The numbers of Korean dramas are rising steadily.

There is a saying that after Winter Sonata inspired a cult of K-factor in most of the Asian countries especially starting from Japan to Singapore. But now breaking the boundaries of Asian and passing through towards the European countries too.

In the latest version I can mentioned Irish as an example of how Hallyu dramas have changed. There is one more I can named it " Dae Jang Geum or Jewel in the Palace" is one of the best example of how Korean dramas are surpassing across borders by showing the values and culture with the univeral themes which are appealling in most of the countries.
