Jeon Ji-hyun will marry the grandson of renowned hanbok designer Lee Young-hee at a hotel in Seoul on June 2,
The groom-to-be is currently working at a Korean branch of an American bank. The couple have reportedly known each other since they were children but only became romantically involved about a year ago. In a press release, the agency indicated that Jeon will continue her acting career after she ties the knot by stressing how much she appreciates her fans' continued support.
After her debut as a fashion magazine model in 1997 while still a high school student, Jeon has appeared in several films such as "Il Mare," "Windstruck," "Daisy," and "My Sassy Girl," with which she gained fame across Asia. In 2009, she made it to Hollywood in "Blood: The Last Vampire." She also played one of the leading roles in "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan," directed by Wayne Wang last year.
